The Tissue Injury by Needle of Intramuscular Injection in the Rat

Abstract
|
|
|
In order to get a basic data of muscular tissue injury by drug type and solvents , this
study is being done to have a dat a base through observing degree of muscular tis sue
injury by needle of intramuscular injection in rat .
We wer e injected to rat gastrocnemius with intramuscular injection.
The rat s were sacrificed at 1 days , 4 days and 7 days after injection.
The result of this study were as follow :
1. The a rat 1 day after intramuscular injection were not ed scattering of inflammatory
cells.
2. The a rat 4 days aft er intramuscular injection, inflammatory cells are heavily
infiltrated, but necrosis of muscle fibers and gr anulation tissue were not obs erved.
3. The a rat 7 days aft er intramuscular injection, inflammatory cells are not observed.
